Fallout TV Show: Amazon Reveals First Teaser Image of the Series

Which vaults will we see in the Fallout series? Bethesda now enlightens us with new information in the truest sense of the word.

On this cover image of the game Fallout 76, we can see a huge round dark building complex in the center of the image. It is shown in total view and stands in a fir forest. On the left half of the image, we can see the setting sun, which is just disappearing behind the fir trees and warmly illuminates the image from behind. In the foreground, a hilly orange sandy ground can be seen with three armed characters in combat suits and full helmets standing at some distance from each other. The two figures in the back are looking toward the complex of buildings in the background, where the foremost character is looking at us as viewers. He is shown in the semi-close-up in the center of the image, has bronze-colored metal armor, and in his left hand, he holds a futuristic sword with a green laser blade. There will be a Fallout TV show on Amazon Prime Video to accompany the game. The release date of the series is not yet known.

For a long time, fans were faced with a mystery. Now Amazon has finally brought light into the darkness and revealed the first still of the Fallout TV show.

Yesterday evening, the video streaming platforms’ Twitter account published a first sneak peek of the upcoming Fallout series on Twitter. For the first time, we get a clearer image of what is to be expected.

In the Tweet, you can see a still of the future Fallout TV show, which shows three residents of Vault 33. The three people we see from behind are looking at a silhouette in a circular entrance in the background. Bright light from outside illuminates the vault, and nearby a person (a corpse?) appears to be lying on the floor.

So far, different theories were made by fans based on leaked images, which have unfortunately been taken off the internet. These featured Vault 32, and it seems that the series will now feature at least two vaults, 32 and 33. However, it also looks like the story of the TV series will not be connected to the story of the RPG games, as neither Vault 33 nor 32 are mentioned in those titles.

Two years ago, a user on Reddit explained how the numbering of the vaults is determined. The post provides information that speaks for a setting on the west coast of America, assuming the TV Show true to tradition. Now we got our first real glimpse of the series with this first official screenshot.

Is there a release date for the Fallout TV series known?

The science fiction series will be produced by Kilter Films and available on Amazon Prime. Westworld co-creator Jonathan Nolan will direct the pilot episode. Unfortunately, when precisely the Fallout series will be released has not yet been revealed. We’ll have to be patient but will update you in this article as soon as we know more.

Fallout is celebrating its 25th anniversary at all levels. Just yesterday we told you about an exciting Fallout DLC that will be released for Fallout 4 in 2023.
