The popular rhythm FPS “Metal: Hellsinger” gets its first DLC with “Dream of the Beast”. The add-on makes the outstanding soundtrack even more convincing and will be released this month.
Publisher Funcom and developer The Outsiders unveiled the first Metal Hellsinger DLC yesterday. The “Dream of the Beast” release date is March 29 for PS4/PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC. The announcement happened on Twitter and obviously caused bright excitement among fans.

Rhythm shooter redefined
The game was released last year and received excellent reviews on Steam. Metal Hellsinger is a rhythm shooter with a concentrated load of badass weapons, demons, and heavy metal music. Here you’ll gain momentum when following the beats with your actions. Sound, first-person shooter, and a unique soundtrack form a symbiosis.
Will Ramos and Cristina Scabbia are particularly successful in the metal scene with their voices, but their styles are also very different. The two singers join the glorious Metal Hellsinger crew in the new DLC, including Matt Heafy from Trivium, Tatiana Shmayluk from Jinjer, and Randy Blythe from Lamb of God.
But that’s not all. In addition to the vocal enrichment, you as a player also receive a brand new machine gun called “The Red Right Hand”, with which you can strike down more demons to the music.
