Â
Luc Baghadous, the games producer, has verified the release date of Episode 5 ‘Polarized‘ today via the blog on Square Enix. According to him, you will be able to get your hands on the ending of the series October 20, next month.
We’ve seen that a lot of you can’t wait to play the Life is Strange finale and are eagerly awaiting a release date. The episode is getting closer to submission and we have almost completed development.
We don’t normally announce a date until we know the game is 100% ready but in the spirit of Max’s birthday (today) we wanted to let you know early that we are aiming to release Episode 5 ‘Polarized’ October 20.
This was the longest time, the fans had to wait between episodes, but Baghadous this just happened out of quality ensuring reasons:
Many things can change in the lead up to release but the team are working really hard to try and hit this date. We know the wait may be a bit longer than some of you were hoping for but we want to ensure Episode 5 is the best it can be.
Life Is Strange is a graphic adventure, played from a third-person view. With the possibility to rewind time, it allows the player to go back and redo any action. The game takes place during the week of 7 October 2013, and is told from the perspective of Maxine Caulfield (Hannah Telle),a 12th grade student of the fictional Blackwell Academy in Arcadia Bay, Oregon.

The games unexpected success continues. One million copies of this cult hit were sold so far, and this ride will probably reach another milestone then next month.
Let’s hope they can keep their date and cross all our fingers.
