Fallout 4 DLC: Next-Gen Update Might Replace Mod’s & ENB’s

Bethesda has a bowl of candy ready for us even before Halloween. Grab it if you're a fan and most importantly, look forward to the year ahead!

Fallout is celebrating its 25th birthday. To celebrate, Bethesda announced a next-gen update as free Fallout 4 DLC for 2023, which could replace one or the other mod or ENB from fans.

October has quite a few surprises in store for us. Yesterday, Bethesda announced some exciting details to celebrate Fallout’s 25th birthday. There will be new features for Fallout 4 and Fallout 76.

Next-Gen Update

Let’s start with what is surely the biggest happy news: The next-gen update as a big Fallout 4 DLC. The free upgrade will be available next year for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC and will include new features like 4K resolution, higher framerates, bonus content for the Creation Club, and bug fixes! Bethesda is thus taking the opportunity to update the game, Which is in a slightly run-down condition. In the 7 years, many have tried to pimp the fourth part through a mod or ENB graphically. Now Bethesda is finally remedying the situation itself. When exactly the next-gen update will be released next year, however, remains to be seen.

Fallout 76 Goodies for subscribers

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members have the opportunity to get the 25th Anniversary Bundle with numerous goodies for Fallout 76 from October 27 to December 27, 2022. Prime Gaming subscribers can do the same, but they have a much longer period of time: There you can grab the bundle from November 2, 2022 to February 2, 2023. The free offers range from brand-new items to useful consumer goods that you can take with you on your next in-game trip. Just keep an eye on the store to not miss any of it.
