It’s time to take revenge on your friends. To avoid real nosebleeds or bruises, our ranking of the best PC fighting games is a good choice. Let’s head right in.

 

5. Brawlhalla

This free-to-play platform fighter game, released in 2017, enjoys great popularity and is played very extensively by many gamers. A fighting game is always about optimizing your skills and outperforming your opponents with special move-sets. In Brawlhalla, players compete mainly in online ranked battles in 1v1 mode. Choose the character that suits you best from over 50 legends, each of which has its own form of movement and specialties.

In Brawlhalle, one of the best PC fighting games, you'll enter a 2D arena where you'll fight against several opponents at once, as you can see in the screenshot: We glimpse a fighting arena in daylight, consisting of four stone planes floating in the air, which are covered in grass. On the left of the image, as well as in the upper right of the crop, there is a stone plane on which a vertically placed fiery sword is placed. On the left of the stone plane, a female character dressed in black with pink hair is performing a spear attack, revealing a green round tail, and enemy characters in red battle gear are falling into the depths. A little further below them, an Asian-looking female character with black hair pinned up and red clothing is leaping into the air with her arms outstretched. Right at the top of the image are two characters in the air. One has a bird-like green and yellow outfit and has grabbed the other character, who has green skin and red clothing. 4. SoulCalibur VI

Developed by Bandai Namco, SoulCalibur VI is a weapon-based fighting title. It is a continuation and, at the same time, a new beginning of the Soul series. It reinvents the story of the game but still follows the main storyline of the battle between the ghostly Soul Calibur sword and the cursed Soul Edge sword. A special feature of the title is a new game mechanic called “Reversal Edge”. With this, players can counter the attacks of enemies in slow motion.

3. Tekken 7

As in all titles of the Tekken series, the 7th installment tells the story of sons and their fathers who try to kill each other to restore peace in the Mishima clan. This is disturbed by a devil gene, which turns people into hellish beasts. It is an excellent and also very exciting fighting game, which includes a very wide range of character moves based on real martial arts and is certainly one of the best PC fighting games in 2022. With Tekken 7, improved special attacks (Power Crush) and super moves (Rage-Arts) are added.

In the background, numerous other glass skyscrapers can be seen rising into the sky. We are looking at the fight of two warriors in a long shot in the middle of the picture from an oblique and lower perspective. The character on the right is facing us, so we can see him in half-profile. He has a black leather vest on and brown pants with a black knee pad with "Police" written on it in white capital letters. His brown hair is combed back. With both arms outstretched, he performs a thrusting attack that creates two bright transparent circles in front of him, knocking his opponent, whom we see on the left, straight backward. This character is only wearing a historical-looking cloth around his legs, so we can see his muscular torso. The attack creates a lot of bright particles that are shown in motion blur in the image as they shoot radially out of the frame in all directions.

2. Dragon Ball FighterZ

Another successful video game adaptation of the popular Dragon Ball manga series. Released in 2018 by Bandai Namco, Dragon Ball FighterZ sets new standards in its field. The game earned special praise for its high degree of series-true implementation, which has an enormous recognition value and consequently provides even more goosebumps and epic feelings in battle. Choose your favorite character and perform the famous combos from the series. The game also offers ranked matches, group battles, and a story mode.

Immerse yourself in one of the best fighting games for PC, as illustrated here in this screenshot of Dragon Ball FighterZ: On the right, we see Son Goku in profile in perspective view in a long shot. 1. Mortal Kombat 11

To put it in a nutshell: Mortal Kombat is still considered the king of fighting games, and with the latest edition, it’s certainly the best title you can get on the PC. MK 11 stands out for its great graphics, addictive gameplay, and sophisticated game mechanics. But beware: Everything is quick to learn but not easy to master. The characters have cult status, and the combat is simply extremely exciting and endlessly entertaining. A jewel of its genre and undoubtedly one of the best fighting games for PC.
