5. Rocket League

This hybrid of soccer and racing, which was developed and released by Psyonix in 2015, is not only a lot of fun but also addictive! Play soccer together in a very special and “automotive” way. Here you control sports cars and have to try to get an oversized ball into the opponent’s goal. This results in a game that is fun and challenging at the same time. With its fast gameplay, it is also a perfect game for time in-between.

Play Rocket League in multiplayer mode and engage in intense matches with friends, as illustrated here in this screenshot, where two cars fight for the ball in a soccer stadium. 4. Overwatch 2

The first installment was released by Activision Blizzard in 2016 and is still one of the most popular shooters. Now the second part was released this October. If you and your friends like fast-paced and cooperative battles, this title is made for you. Choose from a large number of characters with unique abilities and ensure a good balance between attack and support.

You can play Overwatch 2 with up to ten players in online Co-op or against each other. The game is a free-to-play shooter, which is available for PS4/PS5 via the PlayStation Store.

 

3. FIFA 23

Experience the latest installment in the series fresh on PS5. The latest HyperMotion technology makes the movements of the footballers look extremely realistic. This is one of the reasons why you can expect an incredibly immersive gaming experience. Play offline in local multiplayer mode, where only one player needs a PS Plus account (the other players can join as guests by simply pressing the triangle button on the controllers). Or jump into an online match and lead your team to soccer glory.

2. GTA V

It is the most commercially successful game ever. Grand Theft Auto V is an open-world action title and a brilliant genre mix of racing, adventure, shooter, RPG, and sports game. Experience the huge city of Los Santos, which is very much based on the real Los Angeles in all its facets, or explore the vast landscape around it. Go on a bank heist with your friends and take on the law or fly over the city in a helicopter. Do what you want in one of the best multiplayer games for PS5. 1. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II

At the end of October 2022, the brand new Call of Duty came out, which is a remake of the title of the same name from 2009. In its first week of sales, CoD: Modern Warfare 2 already made record sales and is really trending among PS5 multiplayer games right now. If you have a preference for shooters in a modern combat setting, this game would be ideal for you.
